TITLE: Station Wear Uniform Apparel
The purpose of this Sources Sought is for NAVSUP Site Marianas informational/market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation, request for proposal, quotation, or bid, nor a synopsis of a proposed action under FAR Subpart 5.2.
Reponses to this Sources Sought announcement will be used by the Government to make business decisions and to inform potential future solicitations.
1. Introduction & Objective
1.1 This is a Sources Sought Notice issued for market research and planning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10.
The primary objective of this notice is to identify qualified, capable, and interested business concerns—specifically small businesses and socioeconomic categories (including 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business [WOSB/EDWOSB], Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business [SDVOSB], and Veteran-Owned Small Business [VOSB])—that can provide station uniform apparel to NAVSUP Site Marianas in support of Joint Region Marianas (JRM) Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES).
This notice is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an invitation for bid, nor does it commit the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
2. Requirement
Joint Region Marianas (JRM) Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) department has an ongoing requirement for high-quality, professional, and highly durable station uniform apparel. See attached Draft Performance Work Statement for technical specifications, quantities, and delivery and/or place of performance.
3. Capabilities Statement
3.1. Interested firms are invited to submit a capabilities statement, no more than two (2) pages, demonstrating the firm’s ability to meet the Draft Performance Work Statement requirements. Capability statements should include the following information:
- Company Name and Cage Code.
- Company point of contact, phone number, and email address.
- Firm’s Business size/socioeconomic category under NAICS 315210, as validated via the System for Award Administration (SAM). All offerors must register on the SAM located at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a federal contract award.
- Years of experience and a brief description of your firm's experience in textile/apparel manufacturing, bulk garment customization (screen printing, heat transfer, and color matching), and quality assurance practices.
- A brief description of your logistics and delivery plan.
