Jute Netting - Erosion Control

The City of Pasadena's Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of erosion control materials under solicitation 2026-Informal-0535. The contract is strictly for the procurement and delivery of materials to 233 W. Mountain St., Pasadena, CA, and does not include installation services. Required materials include 80 rolls of biodegradable jute netting (8' x 112'), 300 wooden stakes (1" x 2" x 24"), and 1,500 linear feet of 9" diameter straw wattle. All materials must meet or exceed ECTC and ASTM D6461/D6461M-18 standards. The contract period is scheduled from October 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with a delivery requirement of three business days from order placement. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. To be considered responsive, bidders must provide pricing for every listed line item via the City's eProcurement Portal by October 8, 2026. Required submission documents include a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), a relevant experience form, a W-9, and certifications regarding lobbying and recycled content. Bidders must also provide proof of a Pasadena Business License and other state certifications. The City operates on Net 30 payment terms. Compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity practices, the Build America, Buy America Act, and FEMA procurement terms is required. The vendor is responsible for all transit liability and must replace any damaged materials at no additional cost to the City.
