Solicitation # N0016727Q1002
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is soliciting quotes for the procurement, delivery, and turn-key installation of a replacement pump (Pump No. 1) for York Chiller No. 1 in Building 157. This equipment is critical for providing chilled-water cooling to the Building 13 Server Rooms. The project requires the removal of the damaged pump and the installation of a York Chill Pump, Model YLAA0080SJ46X, Serial SEMM-609950. Due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, the contractor must utilize certified Johnson Controls technicians or representatives. This is a brand-name restricted procurement under full and open competition and is not set aside for small businesses. Solicitation # PANMCC26P0000057395
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground is conducting market research to support the procurement of infrastructure maintenance and support subscription services for the ASTRO 25 Land Mobile Radio (LMR) network at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract on a sole-source basis to Motorola Solutions, Inc. due to the proprietary nature of the P25 digital system and the need for Original Equipment Manufacturer resources to ensure compliance with Department of Defense Instruction 8500 Information Assurance requirements. The scope of work includes 24/7/365 remote technical support, OEM-level diagnostics, advanced repair and return services for proprietary components, and the delivery of System Upgrade Agreement II updates to maintain cybersecurity and network operations. The requirement is classified under NAICS code 811210 for Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services. Key deliverables include quarterly STIG updates, an integrated vulnerability scanning hardware solution with remediation services, and the appointment of a Program Manager and Alternate Manager. Performance standards are based on ISO 9001 and TL 9000, with quality measured against a Performance Requirements Summary. While the government is currently seeking capability statements from the small business community to determine if competition is viable, the current intent remains a sole-source award to the OEM to mitigate risks associated with aging hardware and proprietary software configuration.
