Kardex Remstar legal record system move/repair

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 22nd Contracting Squadron is searching for firms who can provide; 0001 - This requirement is for a Remstar legal record storage system Model SYS1201411US Serial Number 02004732/001 to be moved and repaired. The system is located in Bldg 1218 Rm 136 and will be moved to bldg 840 rm 202. The system is needed to store records in one central location. The building move from 1218 to 840 will require the system to be disassembled and reassembled which will include the replacement of the TO/T88 keyboard and resetting of the trays. Cost should include the heavy lift equipement, removal from bldg 1218 and move to bldg 84 and reassemble with new equipment where needed. At this time the Government intends to award a sole source contract to: Southwest Solutions Group Inc. All firms must be capable of meeting all technical specifications, capabilities, and be certified to work on Kardex Remstar machines. As part of its market research, 22 CONS/LGCA is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement exists. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of 22 CONS/LGCA market research. No Request For Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which the 22 CONS/LGCA can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract or BPAs based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. 22 CONS/LGCA will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought.
