To: There will be a (Unclassified and Classified) pre-solicitation demonstration/briefing on 13 April 2017 between 0800-1200 at USSOUTHCOMs Conference Center for the America's (CCA). Attendees will submit all clearance documentation to SMO Code: W096AA7. Responses must be received no later than 4:00PM (EST) on Tuesday, 05 April 2017. The following questions have been asked: Question No. 1 Forms for US citizens with Secret security clearance or higher and who possess DOD identification (e.g. CAC): Should have their personnel security or facility security officer perm cert their security clearance to SMO code W096AA7 for non-SCI access or to SMO W096AA2 for SCI access. Alternatively, this information can be faxed to the number provided in the Clearance Certification' attachment. Can you confirm that either of these is sufficient, and no other action is required? Answer No. 1 The above information is correct. If personnel are attending a classified conference, they have to pass their clearance. They can just show their CAC or government credentials at the gate for entry onto the SC installation. Only send non-SCI clearance information to SMO code W096AA7. Question No. 2 Forms for US citizens without clearance: need to fill out form HSPD-12 (background investigation), and email them to the designated email lists. Does the form submitter only fill out Sections 1-12, and does SOUTHCOM designate the - Requesting Government Sponsor' listed in Section 13? Also, can you confirm that no other action other than filling out HSPD-12 is required? Answer No. 2 Visitor completes section 1-12, SC Sponsor completes section 13. Ensure two forms of ID are submitted with this form. Question No. 3 Vendor input: Will there be an opportunity for vendor input in either the unclassified or classified sections of the demonstration/briefing? The forms can either be digitally signed (CAC-holders) or wet-signed and scanned and emailed to MSgt Erica Pratt at erica.r.pratt.mil@mail.mil.
