La Jolla Estates Specific Plan (SP 207, CA 2024, TT22209)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Routine Maintenance Agreement EPIMS-RIV-63129-R6 with the City of Moreno Valley pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602. This agreement authorizes annual routine maintenance within the 20-foot wide low-flow channels of the Line F and Oliver Street Channels in Riverside County, California. The scope of work is strictly limited to these low-flow channels to protect surrounding mitigation areas, where no work is permitted. Approved maintenance activities include the annual mowing or removal of vegetation above the soil level, provided the height does not exceed 24 inches. Additionally, the City is authorized to perform annual sediment removal if deposition levels reach or exceed one foot above the baseline markings on permanent markers. The project was approved on June 8, 2026, and is subject to mandatory mitigation measures and a Mitigation Reporting or Monitoring Plan adopted by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
