Lacombe County invites quotations for the supply of culverts and couplers that meet the specifications and quantities, as indicated in the Unit Price Schedule A on page 2. Conditions • Quote prices F.O.B. to: o Lacombe County Public Works Shop at SW 28-40-27 W4M, Lacombe, AB. • The county will accept nested loads when delivering culverts. • The supplier shall contact Ms. Jodie Grogan, Lacombe County Public Works Shop (403) 782-3567, in advance to arrange for delivery. • Lacombe County shall be invoiced directly at the address below: Attn: Brandon Maier, Manager of Operations Lacombe County RR 3 Lacombe AB T4L 2N3 • Lacombe County reserves the right to inspect the culvert at the point of delivery and to accept or reject the material at their sole discretion. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations and to waive irregularities and informalities at its discretion. The County reserves the right to accept a quotation other than the lowest quotation without stating reasons. By the act of submitting its bid, the Bidder waives any right to contest in any legal proceeding or action the right of the County to award the work to whomever it chooses, in its sole and unfettered discretion, and for whatever reasons the County deems appropriate. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the County may consider any other factor besides price and capability to perform the work that it deems in its sole discretion to be relevant to its decision.
