Landing Gear Engineering Services

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (NOTICE OF INTENT) FOR A SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). AFSC OL:H/PZAAB Hill AFB intends to issue a modification to contract FA8251-12-D-0007 to ES3 and to contract FA8251-12-D-0006 to GASI. The modification is to extend both contracts for one year under the authority of 10 United States Code 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, titled "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." . This requirement is considered noncommercial in nature and any resultant contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR 15. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541330 which has a corresponding size standard of $38.5M. The contractor will provide landing gear engineering services. ES3 & GASI are the prime contractors on the Applied Technologies for Landing Systems (ATLAS) 2.5 contract. The current contract ordering period expires on July 18, 2016. This notice of intent is to determine if there are any prospective sources that can meet agency requirements and this notice is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Any responses to this notice must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a prospective source's bona fide capability to provide these services. Responses may be submitted via email to contact@example.gov. The government will not reimburse any costs associated to submitting a response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract modification based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government
