Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance for Lake Sumter Landing, Village of Spanish Springs, District 8, and Sumter Landing Portions of District 8

The Villages Community Development Districts are seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide all-encompassing landscape and irrigation maintenance services for multiple high-profile community areas, including Lake Sumter Landing, the Village of Spanish Springs, District 8, and parts of Sumter Landing within District 8. The selected contractor will be responsible for comprehensive upkeep involving turf, trees, shrubs, annual flower beds, and irrigation systems. This includes routine tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, fertilization, pest and disease control, irrigation monitoring and repairs, seasonal flower rotations, and debris removal, with an emphasis on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal, especially in heavily trafficked town centers. Contractors must supply all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to meet established horticultural, irrigation, and safety standards that ensure consistent quality and sustainable landscape health. Proposals will undergo a structured evaluation process conducted by a Selection Committee that will assess equipment and staffing capabilities, qualifications of key personnel, organizational experience, reference quality, pricing, and overall proposal completeness. Contract awards will be granted to the most advantageous submissions as determined by this evaluation, with final approval resting with the Board.
