Landscape Herbicide

The City of Fresno, through its Public Works Street Maintenance Department, is seeking an informal product purchase contract for various landscape herbicides. The scope includes the procurement of specific quantities of Reward, Gallery SC, Cheetah Pro, and Dimension 2EW, with a total contract value not to exceed 184,000 dollars. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who provides the specified products or approved equals. A five percent local preference is available for qualifying small businesses located within Fresno County or a 25-mile radius of City Hall, provided the bid is 500,000 dollars or less and the preference does not exceed 75,000 dollars. To be eligible, vendors must be licensed pesticide dealers by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation and employ a licensed Pest Control Advisor with vegetation management experience. All products must be CDPR registered and comply with OSHA and Cal/OSHA safety standards. Deliveries are to be made F.O.B. Destination to the City of Fresno, with orders filled within two weeks of notification. The vendor is responsible for recovering returnable bulk containers in an un-rinsed condition. Required submission documents include a bid proposal, business license, conflict of interest disclosure, and nondiscrimination certification. Payment will be rendered electronically upon submission of invoices featuring the City's purchase order number.
