The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is soliciting bids for the harvest and staging of woody materials to support the Anthony Creek uplift project within the Elkhorn Wildlife Area. The project aims to restore approximately 1.5 miles of the Anthony Creek floodplain by creating engineered habitat features. The selected contractor will be responsible for harvesting and staging 70 trees for racking material and 36 unanchored trees, as well as 1,850 cubic yards of conifer slash material. These materials must be sorted and staged across six designated areas within the project site. All services must be completed by June 30, 2027. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, with specific preferences applied for Oregon Small Business Enterprises and services performed entirely within Oregon.
