The scope of work contemplated by this requirement includes the provision of laundry services, including the supply of washers and dryers, to various County of Lambton properties on a concession basis including all related service and system management.The system must have the ability to work with a "smart card" that users can load by either inserting a debit/credit card or cash. In addition, certain locations will be required to load smart cards via cash only.Proponents must be willing to provide a comprehensive "Outreach program" to introduce their system to all residents through on site presentations, hand out materials and call centres for questions. Such Outreach programs must provide "hands on" instruction on how to use the machines and re-load cards at all locations. When requested by the County, these Outreaches must be repeated at a reasonable frequency if deemed necessary.The County will provide adequate space in each of its buildings for the Laundry facility. In addition, the County will be responsible for all utilities including Electricity, hot and cold water as well as natural gas (where available). The County will maintain the cleanliness of the general facility on a regular basis.Proponents must supply complete pricing details of their proposal. The County anticipates that any agreement will be subject to a revenue sharing formula where both parties share in the revenue generated to cover its associated costs. Clearly indicate any additional or extra costs beyond the base amount.
