Solicitation # FY27-01-RFQ
The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is seeking qualified van leasing companies to be placed on its Authorized Vanpool Vendor List through a continuous application process. This initiative supports the Vanpool Start-Up Subsidy Program, which provides limited-term monthly subsidies of 300 dollars for up to nine months to newly formed vanpools operating within or destined for the six-county Sacramento region. For fiscal year 2027, the total aggregate funding for the program is set at 18,000 dollars. To be approved, vendors must provide proof of valid insurance, agree to a three-year record retention policy, and commit to sharing data for National Transit Database reporting. Additionally, applicants must submit a Debarment Certification, Levine Act and Government Code 1090 forms, and a County of Sacramento Payee Data Record, while maintaining good legal standing with the California Secretary of State. The resulting agreements will have a five-year term from the effective date, with payments made via check or wire transfer. Vendors must also comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Buy America provisions, and applicable DBE regulations.
