Leisure AGP maintenance

Wirral Council is soliciting bids under solicitation number DN833719 for the maintenance of artificial grass pitches across its leisure services facilities in Wirral. The scope of work includes the upkeep of four 11-aside 4G football pitches and 14 short-sided 3G caged football pitches located at five leisure centres. The primary objective is to ensure these facilities are maintained in accordance with the Football Foundation (FA) play pitch strategy. The estimated contract value is 30,240 GBP excluding VAT, or 36,288 GBP including VAT, with a projected performance period of two years running from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2029. This opportunity is noted as particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises. Proposals must be submitted exclusively through the Proactis/The Chest procurement platform by the deadline of 23 November 2026 at 12:00pm. Award evaluations will be based on a weighted quality criteria consisting of methodology at 25 percent, health and safety at 15 percent, environment and waste at 10 percent, and deadline assurance at 10 percent.
