Level Access Special Technical Needs for Accessibility Project

The Level Access Special Technical Needs for Accessibility Project is a one-year initiative launched by the State of Ohio to advance accessibility services and training, ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The contract focuses on providing specialized technical services to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities across multiple platforms and services in Ohio. All deliverables submitted by the contractor must adhere to the latest accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.1 Level AA or the most current version, guaranteeing that products and services are accessible to users with disabilities. The contractor is responsible for promptly addressing and resolving any accessibility-related complaints and must notify the State in writing if deliverables fail to meet required standards, including submitting a plan and schedule to achieve compliance. Work under the contract will be performed primarily within Ohio, as designated by the ordering agency. Bidders are required to maintain adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local laws throughout the agreement, carry specified insurance policies, and certify their registration with the Ohio Secretary of State, as well as compliance with drug-free workplace regulations. The contract is valued between $500,000 and $2,000,000 and is open for bids from eligible vendors.
