The Library of Congress, Library Collections and Services Group (LCSG) requires contractor assistance to maintain and manage its collection of materials through maintenance, preservation work for binding preparation, shifting, shelving, inventory, and reshelving (PRESSI) services for items in its collections to help achieve Library of Congress (Library) goals of assuring long-term, sustainable preservation, and access for items in its collections. Services shall be provided according to the highest professional standards, guidelines, and best practices.The contractor shall provide collection maintenance, preservation, and inventory services to support standard operations of the Library. Work for these tasks shall be performed on a daily and weekly basis. In addition, the contractor shall perform projects as assigned.
