65th Contracting Squadron, Lajes Field, Azores intends to award a sole source purchase order to SirsiDynix Horizon for Library Software System Management and Support Services. The contractor shall provide all labor and transportation to provide Library Software System Management and Support Services to military, Department of Defense (DOD) personnel, and the Lajes community. This solicitation is "Sole Source". The government intends award a Firm-fixed price contract to SirsiDynix Horizon. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811212 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The entire solicitation FA4486-08-T-0020 will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Fedbizops website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 2 September 2008. Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1, Only Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the government.
