The contract entails the complete redesign and delivery of lift stations for the Commodities Maintenance Group at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. These lift stations are designed to safely handle and transport liquid chemical waste, including hazardous substances such as acid and chrome waste, to mitigate environmental risks. Each station features two electric pumps constructed from CPVC or 316 stainless steel with pump fittings capped at two inches in nominal size, delivering a flow rate of 25 gallons per minute and capable of operating with a 30-foot total dynamic head. The tanks are to be made from polypropylene with a capacity ranging between 50 and 75 gallons, following a single containment design. Additional specifications include physical dimensions of four feet long, three feet wide, and four feet high per lift station. The control panels must be housed in stainless steel enclosures and operate on either 120V or 208V power supplies. For operational control, each pump will be outfitted with disconnect switches, hands-off-auto settings, and level sensors to automate pump cycling.
