Amendment 002 for W8486-260468-001-SV for error in quantities was uploaded, prior to contract being awarded, quantities was discovered and amended. Bidders were notified and corrected prior to any bid being awarded. File Number: W8486-260468A LUVW Repair & Overhaul Starters and Alternators PROPOSED PROCUREMENT The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for Repair and Overhaul (R&O) of Light Utility Vehicle Wheeled (LUVW) Starters and Alternators, to have all necessary processes performed to return the items to a fully serviceable condition. The work includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repairs, overhaul, reassembly, calibration, testing, and packaging & preservation process. The following items will be required to be serviced: Starters 2920-12-390-4158, P/N: NCAGE 461151010188: D80846 175EA Alternators 2920-12-362-5308, P/N: NCAGE 6121500250:CN7Z7 110 EA, also, with a repair cost for beyond the economical repair (BER) of light utility vehicle with wheels (LUVW) The work under this requirement will be carried out over an initial period of a three (3) year period with a possible 3 (1) year option period from the effective date of the contract award. The crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
