This is an invitation to tender (ITT).
Cap-des-Rosiers Lighthouse is a National Historic Site of Canada, one of a series of tall, tapering lighthouses built by the Minister of Public Works in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and on the shores of Lake Huron. It is the tallest lighthouse in Canada (34.1 metres - 112 feet).
The current project involves repairing the lighthouse's architectural, mechanical and electrical elements to limit water infiltration and increase air exchange. The end result is to extend the lighthouse's useful life.
The work must be completed by September 1, 2025.
