The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for Lightning Protection for Aircraft Training for Aircraft Certification and Flight Standards Airworthiness Inspectors/Aerospace Engineers employed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Award will be made to the Lowest-Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror deemed responsible and whose proposal is responsive to the solicitation requirements. The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with 1-year base period with four (4), 1-year option periods per aircraft.

Technical and cost proposals must be received by the FAA no later than 5:00 P.M. CST, October 20, 2026. Proposals must be submitted electronically to gcontact@example.gov, and addressed with the SIR Number 6973GH-26-R-00241. All submittals will need to allow sufficient time to process through security procedures in place at the Aeronautical Center.

In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due time and date of 5:00 p.m. CST, October 20, 2026, will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award.

The SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation.
