Limitorque QXB-2 Actuator

The City of Houston is soliciting bids for the procurement of new, current-year production Limitorque QXB-2 electric quarter-turn actuators for the SEWPP project. These actuators must be of the latest design, factory assembled, and include all standard components, mounting hardware, and accessories, specifically featuring an FA10-B4 mounting base for on/off service. Deliverables include the actuators and two operations and maintenance manuals. Equipment must be delivered to the City of Houston Maintenance Facility at 3100 Genoa Red Bluff Rd, Houston, TX, with delivery coordinated through Richard Carter and Christopher Shaw during specified weekday hours. The contract will be awarded to a responsive and responsible bidder based on the overall low net bid meeting all specifications, though the City reserves the right to award based on individual items or the overall best bid. Bidders must maintain a fully stocked parts and service facility and adhere to strict submission guidelines, including a yes or no response to all technical specifications. The equipment is subject to a warranty covering 100 percent of parts and labor for 18 months from shipment or 12 months from start-up, whichever is less. Vendors must also provide certifications regarding equal opportunity employment, non-collusion, and compliance with Texas Government Code regarding boycotts of Israel, energy companies, and firearm entities, as well as adherence to human trafficking policies. Payment is due 30 days after invoice approval or acceptance of goods.
