Treated Pine Lumber & Exterior Fir Plywood for Houston Public Works

The City of Houston is soliciting bids for the procurement of high-quality, new, and unused lumber and plywood for Houston Public Works. The specific requirements include 192 units of 2" x 8" x 20' treated yellow pine lumber, 144 units of 4" x 6" x 8' treated yellow pine lumber, and 50 units of 1/2" x 4' x 8' exterior fir plywood. All treated lumber must meet ACQ, CCA, SPIB, and S4S standards. While the City accepts equivalent or superior products, bidders must provide detailed explanations for any substitutions, as the final decision on equivalency rests solely with the City. The City allows ten business days for the inspection and acceptance process to ensure conformity to technical specifications and mechanical integrity. Payment is due 30 days after the later of invoice approval or acceptance of goods. Bidders must comply with various legal certifications, including the Texas Public Information Act, zero tolerance for human trafficking per Executive Order 1-56, and anti-boycott certifications regarding Israel, energy companies, and firearm entities.
