INTENT TO PROCURE SERVICES VIA A SOLE SOURCE SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) ACQUISITION IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 19.1406: Jacobs Creek Job Corps Center, located in Bristol, TN, has a requirement for weekly linen services. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, vehicles, supervision, facilities and other items and services necessary to perform laundry services for Jacobs Creek Job Corps Center, picking up soiled laundry and delivering clean laundry each week. Laundering must be performed at the Contractor's own facilities. This office intends to solicit these services on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 19.1406 from a SDVOSB concern, BES Technologies. This is a commercial items procurement (see FAR part 12). The Government intends to issue a written solicitation to BES Technologies using FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A written solicitation will not be made publicly available unless other interested and capable SDVOSB concerns express interest in this requirement by the response deadline established in this notice.
