The Embassy of the United States of America in Moscow will issue a solicitation for logistical support and local transportation of diplomatic pouch bags between the Embassy of the United States of America in Moscow and the local airports. The contract resulting from the solicitation will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the services specified and effective for the period stated in the Schedule section of the solicitation. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award. The U.S. Government guarantees: 1) Inbound: a minimum order of 5,000 kilograms; and 2) Outbound: a minimum order of 2,500 kilograms. SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. No electronic offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time. The Government intends to issue the solicitation in March 2017.
