Lookout Slough Restoration Project

The Lookout Slough Restoration Project, specifically the Shag Slough Bridge Removal Soil Sampling Project under solicitation WA2025131, involves specialized soil sampling at the Liberty Island Road Bridge over Shag Slough in Solano County, California. Managed by the Department of Water Resources and approved by the Central Valley Flood Protection Board, the scope of work requires the use of a 2.5-inch hand auger to collect soil samples at four boring locations. Two locations will be advanced ten feet below the ground surface, and two locations will be advanced two feet below the ground surface.
