LORAN Station (former) Yap LTM (Post Cleanup Monitoring)

The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor for a supplemental Remedial Investigation at the former LORAN Station Yap in Colonia. The primary objective is to implement recommendations from the December 2025 RI Report to address environmental contamination. Key activities include the removal of 400 cubic yards of lead and PCB contaminated soils from designated areas in Area A, followed by confirmation sampling, as well as the inspection and removal of previously marked debris. Additionally, the project involves long-term monitoring of PCB concentrations through multi-increment sediment sampling in Landfill-1 and biota sampling both inside and outside the Maakiy Causeway.
