The objectives at LORAN Station Yap are to perform a supplemental Remedial Investigation (RI) following the recommendations detailed in the December 2025 RI Report. This will be accomplished through the following actions:
1. Removal of 400cy of lead and PCB contaminated soils from specific DUs and DAs in Area A. This will be followed by confirmation sampling. 2. Multi-Increment sampling of sediment from specific DUs in Landfill-1 to track the anticipated decline of PCB concentrations. 3. Biota sampling from both inside and outside the Maakiy Causeway to track the anticipated decline of PCB concentrations. 4.
