Los Angeles Field Office Security Upgrades

The Franchise Tax Board is planning security upgrades to the 5th Floor of the South Tower in its Los Angeles field office, focusing on enhancing access control and surveillance capabilities. The project includes replacing all existing card readers at secured doors and installing new card readers in areas currently without them, ensuring uniform and comprehensive access control throughout the floor. Door hardware will also be updated to be compatible with the new electronic access system. In addition, a modern CCTV monitoring system will be installed to provide continuous video surveillance and improve overall security monitoring. The initiative aims to modernize the physical security infrastructure to meet current standards and enhance safety for personnel and assets.
