Public Services and Procurement on behalf of Transport Canada (TC) requires the environmental site remediation at Lot 512, Iqaluit, Nunavut.
A Limited Phase II Environmental Site Assessment, was completed to determine the presence and extent of petroleum hydrocarbon (PHC) impacts at the Site. A total of 11 test pits were advanced at the Site.
In 7 of the 11 test pits completed, concentrations of PHC fractions F1, F2, and/or, F3 (PHC F1, F2, and/or F3) exceeded Canadian Council of Ministers of Environment (CCME) guidelines for a residential/parkland land use. The total estimated volume of impacted soil to be removed is 1,145 cubic metres
This solicitation is limited for bidding among firms registered on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR).

BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Western Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing.
