LSA for Cannabis Grow Site at APN 0462-313-13-0000 (Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-SBR-67095-R6)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has authorized Sukhraj Randhawa to conduct ecological restoration activities at a 9.6-acre site in El Mirage, San Bernardino County, identified by Assessor’s Parcel Number 0462-313-13-0000, under Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-SBR-67095-R6. The project focuses on remediating environmental damage caused by previous illicit cannabis cultivation, specifically targeting the cleanup of approximately 0.15 acres of ephemeral stream resources. All work is restricted to manual removal of trash, hazardous materials, and cultivation-related structures, with explicit prohibition of heavy machinery as outlined in Measure 2.1. The endeavor is designed to restore natural hydrology and habitat conditions while minimizing further disruption to the surrounding environment. Following the remediation, a minimum five-year maintenance and monitoring period is mandated to verify that ecological performance standards and success criteria are met. The site’s restoration is overseen by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Region 6 - Inland Deserts office in Ontario, with direct project contact provided by Kelly Connor, Environmental Scientist, and Sukhraj Randhawa as the responsible party.
