The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Program Support Center (PSC), Real Estate, Logistics and Operations (RLO), through the PSC, Office of Acquisition Management Services (OAMS), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Lutron Services Co., Inc., 7200 Suter Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036 for lighting control system support at 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD. The statutory authority for this acquisition is in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. The Lutron Lighting Control System is a proprietary system and must be serviced through Lutron Services Company, Inc. The Government cannot go directly to any other contractors to service this system without voiding any system warranties or damaging the integrity of the software programming. There are no other companies that are authorized to contract and deliver these services for Lutron products. The period of performance will be for one 12-month base period and two (2) 12-month option periods. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE; THEREFORE REQUEST FOR SUCH DOCUMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED INVALID RESPONSES.
