The Department of Cannabis Control approved a Distributor and Specialty Indoor commercial cannabis license for LUVBRITE COLLECTIVE on August 5, 2025, pursuant to Business and Procession Code Section 26012. Located at 2126 S Cotner Ave, Suite 1, Los Angeles, California, the project involves the indoor cultivation and distribution of commercial cannabis products in accordance with state and local laws. The facility operates out of a one-story industrial light manufacturing building constructed in 1973, situated on a developed lot approximately 134 feet deep and 49 feet wide within the West Los Angeles Community Plan Area. The site utilizes City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power services for electricity and water, along with existing city sewer service. Operational hours are established as Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for all licensed cannabis activities, with cultivation activities only permitted on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Environmental review for the project has been certified, with the project determined to be exempt under Class 1 and 32 Categorical Exemptions due to its status as an in-fill development with minor alterations and no significant environmental impacts.
