Full Description

The contractor (GDAIS) shall perform the efforts necessary to bring the Maintenance Information Network (MIN) into Information Assurance (IA) compliance. Specific tasks include: - 1. Modification of SPALT 30339 and SPALT 30355, and ODs 68213 Shipboard Data System (SDS) Installation and Checkout and 68214 Shipboard Data System (SDS) Installation and Checkout to incorporate updated baseline information. - 2. Update Network switches with a new configuration file into Flash Memory. This will include unpacking, removal from cabinets (where installed) executing Switch ATP (to re-burn configuration file), inspection, re-installing into cabinets and re-testing (where appropriate) or re-packing or re-process packing, and re-kitting/crating. - 3. Removal of any version of software from, and insertion of current software into kits. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
