C--Sole Source Notification for A&E Type C Services.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The USPFO for Arizona anticipates awarding a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to SOUTHWESTERN ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS Inc., to provide architectural and engineering services. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541330, size standard of $15m. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1). A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of the publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement on a brand name or equal basis including submitting specifications for an equal product.
