Maintenance and Emergency Repairs of the M/A-COM Trunked Radio System and All Components

This is an amendment to Solicitation Number W81XWH0001 which was previously posted to add: 4 option years to the proposed contract. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Superior Communications, Inc., 704 East Gude Drive, Rockville, MD, 20850-8813, for a 1-year plus 4 option years contract for maintenance and emergency repairs of the M/A-COM trunked radio system and all components. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer within eleven calendar days from the date of publication of this notice or no later than 30 MAR 2009, @ 5:00pm. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to provide the stated capability. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source.
