The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires maintenance and repair of gym equipment located in various gymnasiums in the National Capital Region (NCR). The Contractor is required to provide, on a monthly basis, and as and when required, preventive maintenance, inspection, lubrication and interior cleaning services for the fitness equipment located at the two main RCMP fitness facilities under HQ: Leikin building - 73 Leikin Drive (new HQ), Nicholson building - 1200 Vanier Parkway, and every three months or as and when required at the one smaller fitness facility under HQ located at: Air Services - 2000 Research road. It is estimated that sixteen hours a month will be spent on repairs and preventive maintenance for these three fitness facilities. The Contractor must also provide repair services of fitness equipment to these locations, on and as and when required basis.The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to four additional one-year periods.
