Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of approximately 215,000 cubic yards of dredged material, other than ledge rock, from the Cuyahoga River, Cleveland, Ohio in strict accordance with the Plans & Specifications. Dredged material shall be disposed of in both of the Government-furnished Confined Disposal Facilities #10B & #12, as shown on the contract drawings, or a Contractor-furnished/Government-approved Disposal Facility. This solicitation is a Total HubZone set aside. THe NAICS code is 237990. Estimated magnitude in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Estimated liquidated damages are $900 per day. The solicitation will be announced on FedBizOpps and will be available for downloading ON OR ABOUT 2/18/09. (The expected offer due date is 3/18/09.) WE WILL NOT PROVIDE A DISK OR HARD COPY OF THE SOLICITATION.
