Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT] - The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to award on a sole source basis to ImmixTechnology, Inc., located at 8444 Westpark Dr., Ste. 200, McLean, Virginia 22102-5112, for the purchase of a maintenance renewal of its PTC/MKS Integrity Servers Enterprise software. The circumstances of this procurement justify an exception to fair opportunity. SSA anticipates procuring this software maintenance pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.505(a)(4)(i and ii). Currently, SSA owns the right to use PTC/MKS Integrity Servers Enterprise software, which is installed on servers in the National Computer Center (NCC). Specifically, the place of performance is 6201 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21235. The period of performance for the proposed firm-fixed price award is from 05/07/2015 to 05/06/2016. This software is proprietary and as such PTC, Inc. and its authorized resellers have exclusive rights to PTC/MKS Integrity Servers Enterprise software and maintenance. PTC authorizes ImmixTechology as the sole source National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV reseller to SSA for this software and its maintenance. No other entities may sell PTC/MKS Integrity Servers Enterprise software or maintenance to SSA on NASA SEWP. Other organizations possessing the requisite expertise and resources are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, expertise, and other pertinent data. Pricing may be submitted. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation; rather, this posting constitutes SSA's notice of intent to award on a sole source basis to ImmixTechnology for the above specified requirement. SSA does not intend to pay for any information received. If SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing the software maintenance, then it will issue a sole source award to ImmixTechnology using the policies and procedures in FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with those in FAR Part 16-Types of Contracts. Interested vendors must submit responses to Madeline Bryant @ Madeline.Bryant@ssa.gov by 1700 EST on 03/20/2015. Please reference SSA-NOI-15-0018 on the subject line.
