Marine Scrap Metal Removal by Hopper Barge – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District


This lot consists of an estimated 300+ Long Tons of Government-owned scrap metals located at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers waterfront facility, 3500 Grand Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15225.


The property consists primarily of:


  • Plate and Structural Steel (P&S)
  • No. 1 Heavy Melting Steel (HMS #1)
  • Fabricated steel components and structural assemblies
  • Aluminum
  • Mixed ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals
  • Scrap containing incidental foreign attachments such as wood, rubber, fasteners, hardware, and other non-metallic materials

This is a one-time lump-sum sale. Removal of the property is planned to be performed by hopper barge.
