MARION TOWNSHIP BERKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA GUIDERAIL REPLACEMENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Marion Township, Berks County, PA will receive sealed bids online via PennBid for Guiderail Replacement Project, until 12:00 P.M. prevailing time, on June 24, 2024, after which time, Bids will be opened with results displayed publicly on PennBid. Bids will be reviewed and recommended for award to the lowest qualified Bidder(s) at the Township Meeting to be held on June 27, 2024. The project generally consists of replacing existing guiderail located along William Penn Boulevard. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee, Marion Township, Berks County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to the Township. All Contracts exceeding $10,000.00 shall be performed in compliance with Executive Order 11246, entitled, “Equal Employment Opportunity,” as amended by Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60). In addition, all Contractors shall comply with the “Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause” as required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05. No bid may be withdrawn after the above-specified date for receiving, opening, and reading of bids, except as specifically may be provided by law.
