Mayo Park - Pond Creek Bank Improvements

The Mayo Park Pond Creek Bank Improvements project, managed by Santa Rosa County, aims to remedy severe creek bank erosion and enhance resiliency against extreme storm events. The scope of work involves the excavation of unsuitable materials and the stabilization of the creek bank using natural materials, including logs, tree limbs, stone, select fill, and native riparian plantings such as Button bush, Elderberry, Silky Dogwood, and Virginia willow. Additionally, Bid Alternate A includes repairs to a damaged seawall on the western shore of the creek.
