The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals to serve as mediators and facilitators for its Special Education Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services program. Successful applicants will be awarded a master contract and placed on a pre-qualified roster of vendors, with work assignments issued based on the department’s needs. Multiple contracts may be awarded through this solicitation, but securing a master contract does not guarantee work; rather, MDE will issue specific work orders as required. The solicitation emphasizes that all responses must be submitted exclusively through the SWIFT eSupplier portal, with assistance available via the SWIFT Helpdesk. The project aims to enhance dispute resolution processes within special education by engaging experienced professionals, with the contract details including a response deadline of June 14, 2024, and contact information provided for further inquiries. Attachments such as Addendum #1 and related solicitation files have been made available to clarify the scope and questions related to the RFP.
