Full Description

FEMA is looking to possibly procure self-heating and shelf-stable (30-36 Month Long shelf-life) Commercial Meals. No beverage or drink mixes are required. Each case shall contain 12 to 16 meals based upon vendor packaging with a minimum variety of six entree meal per case. Packaging should be environmentally friendly. Meals will be delivered to the following addresses: 639,000 meals are to be delivered to: DC-ATLANTA 3780 South Side Industrial Court Atlanta, GA 30354 478,000 meals are to be delivered to: Estes Shipping Terminal 921 E Springfield Road High Point, NC 27263 Packing requirements are as follows: Meals shall be packaged in the contractor's standard commercial casing which shall be shipped on industry standard size pallets (48 inches by 40 inches). Shrink wrap shall be fully over all sides (excluding the top and bottom) with a minimum of (10) layer of shrink-wrap to ensure the capability to double stack pallets without comprising the sturdiness of load. The finished product will be place onto a 48 inch 4 way wooden pallet. The over all height of the pallet will not exceed 55 inches. Pricing should be listed as per meal or per case and should include a total price for the total amount of meals (1,117,000.00 Total Meals) Freight Expense should be listed separately and should include freight expense for both locations. in addition to pricing, please include how long it would take to deliver the items, once the order is made, to the specified addresses.
