Median Landscape & Hardscape Maintenance Program

The City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Department is seeking qualified contractors to implement a comprehensive median maintenance program covering approximately 13 miles of landscaped and hardscaped street medians, including roundabouts within city limits. Services required include weed control, litter and debris removal, mulch application, pruning and trimming of vegetation, irrigation system observation and minor adjustments, hardscape cleaning, seasonal planting and plant replacements, traffic control in accordance with the California MUTCD, detailed record-keeping, and Integrated Pest Management reporting aligned with UC IPM Guidelines. All work must adhere to industry best practices as defined by the California Landscape Contractors Association, comply with California Department of Pesticide Regulation standards, and fully meet Cal/OSHA safety regulations.
