Medical Fridges, Freezers and Associated Equipment

The Regional Business Services Organisation Procurement and Logistics Service is establishing a Framework Agreement for the supply and delivery of medical fridges, freezers, and associated equipment. The procurement is organized into three functional lots: Pharmacy Refrigeration, Laboratory Refrigeration, and Blood Bank Refrigeration. The estimated total value of the contract is 1,607,589.77 GBP including VAT, with an estimated performance period of four years running from April 1, 2027, to March 31, 2031. The buyer maintains the right to make additional purchases and expand the product range based on service user requirements throughout the duration of the agreement. Using an open procedure, the award will be based on the most economically advantageous tender. Evaluation is heavily weighted toward price at 90 percent, with an additional 10 percent allocated to a scored assessment of desirable sustainability criteria. To be eligible for award, bidders must first pass mandatory requirements regarding product specifications and the validation of those specifications. Tenders must be submitted in English via the electronic portal by December 2, 2026.
