Medical Grade Oxygen

Collier County Emergency Medical Services is seeking a supplier for medical grade oxygen gas for fiscal year 2027, covering the period from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. The contract involves the supply, delivery, and retrieval of various pressurized tanks for EMS, Emergency Management, and Domestic Animal Services across multiple locations, including Station 75, Station 44, Station 10, and the Emergency Services Center. The scope of work requires the supplier to provide reliable scheduled provisions, emergency after-hours deliveries with at least three available contact persons, and regular periodic inspection and hydrostatic testing of all rented or used tanks. All oxygen must meet FDA Gas Specifications, and the supplier must comply with OSHA, NIOSH, and NFPA standards. The contract will be awarded to the responsive vendor providing the lowest quote. Required submissions include a pricing proposal, vendor questionnaire, proof of status from SunBiz, E-Verify documentation, and necessary professional licenses. The successful contractor must be certified by the Food and Drug Administration and the Florida Department of Rehabilitation Services. Comprehensive insurance and bonding requirements apply, including commercial general liability and automobile liability. While historical annual spending is approximately 12,000 dollars, this is not indicative of future requirements. All goods are provided FOB destination, and the vendor is responsible for the cost of replacing any defective or nonconforming tanks.
