The work requires a contractor with at least five years of experience in managing peer review processes, emphasizing the importance of expertise to maintain the integrity and continuity of the review process, as no mid-process replacements are permitted. Development and coordination of all aspects of independent continuous scientific peer review, including, but not limited to; panel member recruitment and composition; meeting planning and facilitation; coordination of travel; lodging and other logistics. Under the scope of this work, confidential applications from NYSDOH are received and screened for compliance with established criteria and other application requirements and standards, including, but not limited to; requirements for human subjects research, vertebrate animal research, publications and intellectual property. Contractors must have at least 5 years experience in managing Peer review. The nuances of the peer review process are such that, although there may be other organizations that provide peer review services, none may step in mid-way through the process and be expected to close out the peer review process. Rather, they would need to start from square one (recruitment phase), which would significantly delay NYSDOH’s ability to abide by the NYS Prompt Contracting guidelines. Reason for advertising exemption: Exempt from Advertising per Economic Dev. Law Award recipient: American Institute of Biological Services Any questions or comments regarding this notice of sole-source, single-source, or procurement otherwise exempt from advertising in the NYS Contract Reporter should be directed to the contact person listed for the contracting agency or public authority. Ad end date:02/27/2025 Contract term: 1/1/2025 – 3/31/2026 County(ies): All NYS counties Location: New York State
