AI Contract Overview
This contract solicitation, issued by the Department of Commerce's NOAA office, is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the purchase of one commercial methane gas analyzer, specifically a brand name or equivalent to the Aeris Technologies MIRA Ultra. The solicitation number is 1333MJ26Q0009 and it is a total small business set-aside acquisition under NAICS code 334516. The methane gas analyzer requested must feature Mid-infrared Absorption (MIRA) technology for high-precision trace gas monitoring, capable of measuring methane and ethane with parts-per-billion sensitivity. It should be portable and lightweight, suitable for various deployment scenarios including benchtop, mobile labs, towers, or drone/aircraft use. Key technical requirements include integration or inclusion of a Nafion dryer for moisture correction, an external pump and flow control, near real-time automated data transmission via Ethernet or USB, and specific size and power consumption limits to ensure compatibility with the existing Aeris MIRA Ultra analyzer system. Delivery is required FOB Boulder, Colorado, within 60 days or less after receipt of order. The solicitation references standard federal acquisition provisions and clauses applicable under FAR part 12, accessible electronically.
