Microsoft Software License Agreement

This Notice of Intent is issued, Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.106-1(b), to inform the general public that The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) intends on issuing a contract modification extension to ASAP Software Express, Inc. to continue providing Microsoft Licensing Agreement services for all desktop and server software licenses at the our agency. Because of its unique role in providing IMLS with a Microsoft Licensing Agreement, IMLS has determined that ASAP, Inc. is the only source available on GSA Contract Schedule. Other organizations who are on GSA Contract Schedule and who feel are capable of meeting IMLS requirements are hereby given notice of an opportunity to respond and are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement (attached). If IMLS does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the agency shall issue a sole source award for the above service under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by December 30, 2008, 3:30 pm, EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
