Minor Mechanical Equipment Installation and Replacement

The Government of Yukon is establishing a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) under solicitation RSO-RFB-2026-8-5529 for minor mechanical equipment installation and replacement services. This arrangement is designed to provide the government with as-needed technical services, including the installation, modification, and commissioning of mechanical equipment, as well as like-for-like replacements and minor system upgrades. The scope encompasses both general non-emergency maintenance and emergency call-out services to address deficiencies that pose risks to occupants, the public, or the environment. Services will be performed across various Yukon communities and traditional locations, including Whitehorse, Dawson City, and several First Nation territories. The estimated total value of work under this SOA is 65,000.00 dollars. Award decisions are based on the Adjusted Total Price, which is calculated using hourly rates for Forepersons/Supervisors, Journeyperson Plumbers/Mechanical Technicians, and Apprentices across regular, after-hours, and statutory holiday categories. To ensure fair regional competition, the government applies a travel and accommodation multiplier based on the contractor's home location relative to the service region. Contractors must provide all necessary labor, tools, and materials, ensuring all products are new and compliant with current safety and quality standards. Payment for undisputed invoices is made within 30 calendar days, governed by The Financial Administration Act (Yukon). Respondents are required to submit their bids electronically and may be asked to verify their status via the Yukon First Nations Business Registry or provide proof of insurance and workers' compensation coverage.
